Essential:

• Significant experience in leading and managing diverse teams.
• Highly developed knowledge of research, analysis and evaluation
• Strong understanding of the strategic and operational law enforcement environment
• Ability to maintain the highest levels of integrity, discretion and confidentiality.
• High level communication skills to engage, influence, motivate, and negotiate internally and externally, representing the organisation to a variety of audiences.
• Previous extensive analytical experience at a high level.
• Ability to undertake performance monitoring in line with the Intelligence Professionalisation Programme (IPP).

Desirable: 

• Experience in Social Research Methods
• Educated to Degree level or with a level 5 qualification
• Experience of working with sensitive products
• Knowledge/experience of the OCGM process.

Other Requirements:

• Vetting required to SC (Enhanced)
• Occasional work outside of normal office hours
• The post holder will need to have a driving licence 
• The post holder may be required to use their own vehicle so the individual will need to ensure that they have business use cover within their insurance
• The post holder may be required to work from different locations other than ROCU
• The post holder will be expected to comply with health and safety requirements
