Resourcing Manager (12 month Fixed Term Contract)

Essential
- Prior experience in implementing and evaluating resourcing interventions that have a visible impact on organisational success
- Experience in managing, developing and delivering a first class resourcing function within a relatively large and fast moving organisation, with evidence of proven results
- Prior experience of / able to demonstrate an understanding of, and commitment to, the use of Diversity & Inclusion (Positive Action) in resourcing initiatives
- In depth knowledge of resourcing practices and their contribution to business success
- Confident to deliver presentations and training internally & externally
- Good interpersonal skills
- Building and maintaining strong relationships (including commissioning services) and working with partners, suppliers and expert advisers)
- Influential (both up and down)
- Creative
- Collaborative
- Excellent communication skills (both oral and written)
- Able to attend and travel to internal & external events including assessment centres, careers events, university engagements
Desirable
- Previous experience of working within public sector ideally within policing
- Experience in the design of resourcing initiatives at a strategic and operational level
- MCIPD or equivalent, relevant professional qualification
Contract Basis: This opportunity is offered on a 12 month fixed term contract.
