Project Manager-Fixed Term/Secondment Until 31st August 2022
Essential:
- Managing multiple work-streams
- Project and Change Management methodologies, techniques and tools
- Ability to problem solve and analyse both qualitative and quantitative information
- Ability to identify key stakeholders and develop planned strategies.
- Experience in Risk and Issue management to ensure successful project delivery
- Excellent communications skills including the ability to persuade and influence decisions
- Previous project management experience
- PRINCE2 Practitioner or equivalent project management training
- Experienced and competent in the use of MS Office applications (specifically Project, Sharepoint, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
More information:
- The successful applicant will be expected to commit to remain in the role until the delivery of the Commonwealth Games in August 2022 and for post event reporting (unless there are exceptional circumstances).
- The successful applicant will be subject to appropriate vetting.
- The post holder will be contracted to work 22 hours 3 days per week but will need to be flexible to meet the demands of the post, and may have to work outside normal core hours.
- The post holder will need to have the ability to travel to different locations as required.
- The post will predominately be based at Centro House with scope for regular work out of 1 Brindley Place and Lloyd House respectively.
Interviews will be held in August 2021.
Appointment to this role will be dependent upon successfully passing vetting and medical checks, which may include a drugs test and if required a fitness test.
