Essential Skills and Competencies

  • Experience of dealing with confidential and sensitive information appropriately and in accordance with policy & legislation.
  • Have a proactive approach to work and good attention to detail, together with an understanding of the importance of accuracy and precision with data entry
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines being capable of balancing competing demands and priorities, managing expectations where required.
  • Confident working on your own or as part of a larger team - particularly when managing and prioritising allotted duties.
  • Ability to operate in a fast paced environment.
  • Ability to be forward thinking, to overcome challenges faced by the role and its operating environment.
  • Can demonstrate self-motivation and the willingness to learn.
  • Ability to problem-solve, learn and adapt.
  • Experience of using MS Office applications.

 

Desirable Skills and Competencies

  • Be able to demonstrate continuous professional development, especially in relation to professional skills and knowledge.
  • Experience in maintaining standards for security of information.
  • Knowledge of academic awards and external awarding bodies.

The position is based at Tally Ho Training Centre, Edgbaston, and the core hours are Monday- Friday 8 X 4, There will be the need to show flexibility in this depending on the dynamic demands of the role as some agile working may also be required.
