IT Training-Training Supervisor
Knowledge & Experience
Essential:
- Previous Supervisory Experience
- Experience of working within a Learning and Development environment, ideally in an IT delivery context.
- Previous experience of managing Learning needs analysis to a successful learning outcome
Desirable:
- Be the holder of a recognised Training Qualification. e.g. Certificate of Education, Level 3 Award in Education & Training, or at least three years training experience.
- Working knowledge of a range of bespoke and national police computer operating systems and procedures.
- Experience in designing, development and delivery of ICT training products covering all elements of the training cycle.
- Knowledgeable in Articulate Rise 360 and Articulate Storyline.
- Working knowledge of Blackboard LMS.
- Good knowledge of current diversity and inclusion practice including legislation.
Skills
Essential:
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and inspire confidence in staff
- Effective relationship management and working with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong team working skills, with the ability to provide support and flexibility
Desirable:
- Ability to influence beyond authority.
Vetting:
Successful applicants will be required to pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorism Clearance scrutiny prior to commencing their role, this will include a full background & financial disclosure as part of the vetting process
Medical:
Appointment to this role will be dependent upon successfully medical checks, which may include a drugs test and if required a fitness test.

This role will require some travel to various IT training sites in the West Midlands area.
