Homicide- Exhibits/Disclosure/Document Reader
Essential Requirements
- Must have good interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with integrity and a flexible approach to working practices
- High level of computer literacy and working knowledge of Police IT systems.
- The ability to prioritise work in order to ensure all deadlines are met and to be able to manage own workload.
- The ability to produce detailed, concise and accurate reports with appropriate summaries.
- Knowledge of the legislation and guidelines that apply to these roles, including; - MIRSAP, Criminal Procedure & Investigations Act 1996 (as amended) - Codes of Practice - Attorney General’s Guidelines - Disclosure Manual - Health & Safety
- The ability to apply the law and interpret the guidelines
- Must possess a full U.K. driving licence.
Desirable Requirements
- Ability to use their initiative
- Previous Investigatory experience
- Previous experience of working in Exhibits/Disclosure or similar role
Vetting
Successful applicants will be required to pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorism Clearance scrutiny prior to commencing their role, this will include a full background & financial disclosure as part of the vetting process.
Medical:
Appointment to this role will be dependent upon successfully medical checks, which may include a drugs test and if required a fitness test.
