The Person

  • You will have a proven track record and experience of commissioning and evaluation within a complex multi-function organisations

  • A high level of proficiency and expertise relating to best practice and training quality standards, business planning, quality assurance and performance review for both internally and externally provided training

  • Experience of working in a multidisciplinary environment with varied working arrangements and multiple stakeholders and engaging with internal and external stakeholders at senior levels within the business

  • Extensive understanding of and experience of the training cycle to commission, quality assure and evaluate appropriate development interventions

  • As an inspirational leader you should be skilled in positively influencing a broad range of stakeholders both internal and external to the organisation through negotiation and persuasion.

  • You will also have experience of managing teams and have a clear understanding of organisational culture. Proven credibility of dealing with performance issues, whilst managing a number of different work streams at any one time

  • You will have the ability to interpret data and produce management information reports for senior leaders

  • Ability to achieve proven and measurably successful outcomes through a combination of professional, technical and management skills and competencies

  • An understanding of local and public authority governance structure is desired but not essential
