Force Priorities and Vulnerabilities Team Investigator (including Transferees)
Essential Requirements:
- Be a
substantive Detective Constable with any required work-based assessments
complete and signed off
- Transferring
from a Home Office Force
- Demonstrate sound investigative skills including a good knowledge
of Criminal Law together with knowledge and understanding of crime
investigation procedures and reporting requirements
- Thorough working knowledge of PACE powers and Warrants and how to
apply them
- A thorough knowledge of all current legislation, policies and
procedures relevant to the role
- An understanding of Custody, criminal justice agencies and court
procedures
- Experience of utilising sensitive policing methods and
investigations
- Experience of planning and organising operations
Desirable Requirement:
- Experience of investigating complex, cross-border criminality
requiring advanced investigative techniques and use of a wide range of
covert options.
