Essential skills
Experience of Management/leadership at a senior level
Experience of working at a strategic level in a large organisation
Proven track record of leading/working with Volunteers
An understanding of measuring and managing strategic performance and implementing operational plans to meet objectives.
Strong internal and external leadership skills including strong communication and relationship building skills.
Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders at local and organisational leevel to achieve strategic aims.
Demonstrates an understanding of equality and diversity and be committed to service delivery in accordance to these principles.
Desirable
An understanding of Community concerns and priorties in respect of safety, anti-social nehaviour and the prevention and reduction of crime.
Up to date knowledge of matters under consideration by College of Policing, Association of Specials Chief Officers, NPCC and the Home Office in relation to business area
This is a fully operational role.
Must be able to attest as a Special Constable and not hold a precluded occupation.
Must be able to travel across the West Midlands Police Force area although this role can be agile.
