Role Responsibilities:
- Retain a licensed copy of ISO/IEC 17025 and 17020 and related publications.
- Ensure compliance to ISO/IEC 17025 and 17020and related publications.
- Allocate document and reference numbers sequentially.
- Sign off Auditors as competent.
- Monitor audits and Auditors.
- Schedule internal audits and assign Auditors to perform the audits.
- Receive completed audit documentation for retention.
- Report audit findings to Management Review and relevant staff.
- Dip sample Auditors’ audits.
- Arrange Dip Sample audits.
- Arrange follow-up audits.
- Retain and maintain documentation and procedures.
- Create, write, review and update relevant documents and procedures.
- Control access and distribution of documents.
- Issue amendments and updates to relevant staff.
- Ensure timescales are adhered to.
- Raise non-conformances as necessary/identified.
- Discuss repeated non-conformances with the relevant manager or staff member.
- Present non-conformance reports at Management Review Meetings.
- Present Management Review Report.
- Prepare and distribute Management Review agendas.
- Attend Management Review meetings.
- Collate identified trends and present at Management Review meetings.
- Monitor Management Review actions and retain Management Review records.
- Collate reports.
- Chair Quality Assurance meetings.
- Carry out investigations into suggestions and complaints.
- Attend relevant training courses.
- Support colleagues in understanding their responsibilities to ISO 17025 and 17020 and requirements of them.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Analytical mind skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- An up-to-date knowledge of the ISO 17025 Quality Framework with a relevant qualification that is recognised externally in Quality Management procedures.
- Report-writing skills.
- Complete an ISO/IEC 17025:2017 Lead Assessors Course and Auditors Training Course.
- Proven educational standard.
- Strong leadership skills.
- A full driving licence.
Desirable Skills and Competencies:
- A working knowledge of Digital forensic processes.
- Familiarity with Freedom of Information Act, Data Protection Act and other relevant legislation.
- An understanding of the IDO and Analyst roles.
