Role Responsibilities:
- Copy typing of policy files, reports and statements.
- Tape transcription of interviews.
- Filing.
- Proof reading.
- Scanning documents, using ancillary software to log and integrate multi media.
- Assist with court presentation and case build.
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- Keyboard/Inputting skills and experience
- Proven audio and copy typing skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision.
- Ability to prioritise work and manage own workload against competing demands.
- Demonstrate ability to work as part of a team
Desirable Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of the HOLMES system.
- Knowledge / practical experience of the Major Incident Room standardised administration procedures.
- Understanding and awareness of the basic structure of a CT investigation
- Prepare accurate and reliable transcripts of interviews.
- To have successfully passed the Holmes Typist or Indexers course.
