Assistant Finance Business Partner
Experience and Skills
You will need:
- Experience of compiling and analysing financial data, checking and challenging performance against targets and providing professional advice and guidance regarding financial matters.
- Experience
and knowledge in all relevant statutory, regulatory and professional
accounting standards.
- Analytical
and judgement skills – able to analyse diverse sets of information and
draw out appropriate correlations between data to offer solutions, plus support
and carry out options appraisals.
- Excellent
interpersonal skills – able to explain things clearly in an appropriate
style and tone. Take responsibility to meet business requirements
- Ability to
challenge operationally and strategically with a professional approach.
- Enthusiasm to deliver– be highly motivated and proactive with an ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality work.
Desirable
Working knowledge of Oracle Fusion
Qualifications
Part qualified accountant / currently undertaking a
CCAB qualification (ICAEW/ACCA/CIMA/CIPFA).
Knowledge and experience of using industry standard
accounting systems, and working knowledge of Microsoft Office components,
especially creating and using complex spreadsheets.
Conditions
Based at Lloyd House in Birmingham
city centre, you will work a 36.5 hour week. There is a requirement to work
flexibly at all times with regard to workloads and priorities, and a
requirement to travel to other locations to build collaborative
relationships.
