About you :
As the Assistant Director of IT & Digital at WMP you will be an expert in your field with demonstrable leadership ability and exceptional communication, negotiation and presentation skills. You’ll have a comprehensive understanding of Architecture, Delivery and Service Management coupled with the knowledge and skills to lead an effective IT & Digital function. You’ll have a broad understanding of applications, infrastructure and information technologies and an awareness of policing practices and processes.

- Transforming and managing significant IT and Digital Services in a large organisation
- Developing and delivering a comprehensive technology vision and strategy
- Procuring and managing large and complex outcome-based contracts with interdependencies
- Joint procurement, market testing and strategic sourcing as well as negotiating high quality, cost-effective services
- Successfully delivering large technology programmes
- Delivering high quality, customer focussed services
- Contribution to major transformation and building teams at a time of change
- Leading, developing and motivating large teams
- Effective negotiation with a wide range of internal and external executives
- 28 days annual leave (plus bank holidays); increasing to 33 days after five years service
