Knowledge and skills required:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Experience leading a team
- Able to successfully manage team performance and attendance
- Able to successfully develop the skills, knowledge and abilities of individual team members
DESIRABLE SKILLS
- Experience working within the Criminal Justice system
- Able to demonstrate a clear understanding of Criminal Justice processes and procedures
- Partnership working experience
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- IT skills and an ability to use bespoke computer software packages
- Evidence of successfully planning and organising work with short and long term deadlines
- Ability to make decisions
- Ability to use initiative to troubleshoot and solve problems
