Warehouse Supervisor
Essential
- Proven supervisory ability preferably in a customer focused environment
- Proven knowledge of inventory processes, control and quality assurance
- Proven ability to deliver efficiency savings
- Proven knowledge & application of Health & Safety practice
- Ability to effectively implement policy and process change
- Ability to engage with stakeholders and customers at all levels
- Proven ability to deliver results through people and manage performance
Desirable
- Previous employment experience in a warehouse/production environment
- Safe Materials Handing experience including Fork Lift qualification
- Ability and experience to support project research and delivery
- Working knowledge of business operating and supply procedures
- Performance Management skills
- Effective communication and presentation skills
- Resource Management skills
- Process Management skills
- Ability to work under pressure with competing demands
- Proven track record of meeting SLAs
- Proven ability and knowledge in computerised inventory management systems.
- Knowledge of West Midlands Police inventory/control systems & procedures
- Knowledge of relevant legislation ie CPIA, MOPI, PACE, HSAWA, DP
