Training Officer - Uniform Training
Knowledge,
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Essential:
- Good knowledge of Diversity and Inclusion issues including legislation
- Experience of supporting the development of others.
- Excellent communication skills
- Understanding of different learning styles
- Understanding of blended training approaches
- Ability to manage own workload and to use initiative to resolve issues that may occur
- Ability to develop good collaborative working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Desirable:
- To have training qualifications as a minimum of Police Training Roles Learning & Development Programme (PTRLDP) and/or Level 3 Award in Education and Training and Level 4 Certificate in Education and Training or be prepared to achieve them once in post
- oIf qualified (or once qualified) to be prepared to work towards a Level 7 Award in Education (Masters)
- Knowledge of PEQF
- Experience of using basic IT systems including Windows based technology
