Talent & Progression Manager
Experience
- You will have prior experience of development and implementation of Talent Management Frameworks and initiatives, with visible outcomes/achievements across a complex and multi-faceted organisation. You will also have experience of influencing and building constructive relationships with senior stakeholders on talent management matters.
- You will demonstrate experience of developing, implementing and managing high potential talent programmes and progression initiatives and possess in depth knowledge of talent management, tools, techniques and best practice.
- You will ideally have experience in the design of talent and succession initiatives at a strategic and operational level.
Qualities and Skills:
- You will have good interpersonal skills and an ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships (including commissioning services and working with partners, suppliers and expert advisers).
- With excellent communication skills, you will both inspire and influence colleagues at all levels, with a collaborative and facilitative approach.
- As a creative, passionate Talent professional you will comfortably be able to coach and mentor colleagues across the organisation.
- Ideally you will hold an MCIPD or equivalent professional qualification, have an ILM Coaching qualification and evidence of career development coaching.
Conditions
Based in Birmingham city centre, this 36.5 hour a week role will require the post holder to work flexibly with attendance at evening and other out-of-office hours meetings as required. There may also be a requirement at times to travel to other locations within the Force area.
