Specials Sergeant- Transfer on Promotion or at rank
Are You Eligible?
You must
currently be a serving Special Constable or have been in service in the role in
the last 5 years within one of the Home Office Police Forces.
You must meet the following criteria:
- Achieved Independent Patrol
Status
- Received First Aid Training
- Free from any
convictions/cautions/reprimands and penalty notices (other than driving
penalty notices) even if you are serving as a Special Constable at the
moment with another force.
- Free from any ongoing
investigation in your current force
- Have completed your minimum
required annual hours
- You must have passed the
Sergeant's promotion process within your own force to transfer in post or
have previously been a substantive Special Sergeant or higher rank in
another Home office police force or BTP
- If applying to transfer on
promotion, you must pass the West Midlands Police Special Constabulary interview process and have the necessary experience and knowledge
to hold that post.
- You must be in-ticket
for mandatory training
