Essential Skills
- An unendorsed, full, driving licence including B, BE, C1, C1E, D1 and D1E entitlement.
- Experience of driving and operating a range of cars, personnel carriers and light commercial vehicles, including daily checks and routine maintenance necessary to maintain roadworthy conditions.
- Ability to comply with the necessary Force standards of competence for the vehicles to be driven or operated.
- Ability to lift/move equipment/goods weighing up to 25kg, using mechanical aids as necessary.
- Good interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively and both verbally and in writing.
- To have a good knowledge of roads in the force area and nationally.
- Computer literate.
Desirable Skills
- Possession of a C, CE or D licence entitlement
- To hold a first aid at work certificate.
- Possession of a basic police driving authority.
