- A professional qualification HNC /or degree in a Building Surveying / Construction Management or relevant subject.
- Ability to lead and manage a team at a senior level in Property Management.
- Proven experience of the Property Industry in Construction/Building Maintenance Management.
- Proven financial management experience and awareness together with the ability to manage budgets and deliver efficiency savings.
- Knowledge of legal and health and safety legislation in the construction industry.
- Proficient use of IT including Word and Excel documents.
Essential
- Ability to work within a fast paced and reactive organisation with competing demands.
- Ability to demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills at all levels.
- Ability to effectively lead, develop and implement change.
- Proven ability to deliver results through people managed performance.
- Excellent people skills and experience of successfully managing and developing a team.
- Negotiation and influencing skills.
Desirable
- Use of Estates Asset Management systems, Microsoft Project and CAD.
- Knowledge and understanding of national police contract and procurement procedures.
- The ability to innovate.
