Thanks for your interest in the SENIOR SOFTWARE ENGINEER – (JAVA / JAVASCRIPT FULL STACK APP DEVELOPMENT) position. Unfortunately this position has been closed but you can search our 22 open jobs by clicking here.

We are looking to recruit a software engineer with skills and experience in the following areas:

 

  • Agile software development processes using software lifecycle tools i.e. GitLab for code management, Kanban workflow and continuous integration
  • Developing fast responsive web applications using Angular/React JavaScript frameworks
  • Building secure ReST data APIs in Java Spring, NodeJS
  • Container technologies such as Docker, minikube and Kubernetes,
  • Modern authentication and authorisation protocols such as Oauth using ADFS/AzureAD
  • Database design and query skills against both relational and big data technologies such as Oracle/SQL Server/MySQL, Hive, Cassandra, Solr, HBase, Kudu and Redis
  • Assist with deploying and running in AWS using Fargate, CloudFormation etc.
  • You are inquisitive, enjoy working in a multi-disciplinary team, can design and prototype new solutions, actively learn new technologies and focus on adding value

Qualifications - External

  • Degree or equivalent experience

Medical (Non-Operational)

Appointment to this role will be dependent upon successfully passing medical checks, which may include a drugs test and if required a fitness test.

Vetting 
Successful applicants will be required to pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorism Clearance, including MV vetting, scrutiny prior to commencing their role, this will include a full background & financial disclosure as part of the vetting process.
