About you:

As part of the operational support team you will provide any administration tasks associated with this area of business, such as purchase order creation, travel arrangements and any similar duties which are consistent with the nature, responsibilities and grading of this post. 

You will have a background in comprehensive secretarial functions, where amongst your various tasks will include, detailed minute taking for high level, technical meetings completed in a timely manner. Meeting co-ordination, diary management, telephone answering and dissemination of service based requests to the NABIS team where appropriate.

You will maintain appropriate systems, spread sheets and filing systems ensuring all information is accurate, compliant and up to date.

A national role which requires liaising with partners across the UK, you will be accomplished in the use of IT and telecommunications systems, and have excellent interpersonal and relationship skills and be confident with conversing with ranks at all levels.

A flexible approach is desirable as you may be required to travel across the UK to support NABIS activity. A valid UK passport will be essential, as on the rare occasion you may be asked to travel overseas. Office hours are generally 36.5 per week Monday to Friday, though on occasions there be a necessity to work additional hours and occasionally at weekends. This is a demanding, exciting job which is challenging but also very rewarding.

It is desirable, but not essential, that you have knowledge in the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR), the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and the Government Protective Marking Scheme (GPMS).

Due to the nature of the role you there is a requirement for you to undertake / currently hold Security check (SC) and Management level (MV) vetting.
