- Must have a driving licence & be prepared, if required, to work between Birmingham and Stafford or Birmingham and near Worcester; and vice versa.
Desirable Skills
- Experience as an Intelligence Analyst within a law enforcement agency (LEA);
- Completion of the National Intelligence Analysis Training (NIAT);
- Experience of working with communications data within investigations, producing evidential products
- Knowledge of relevant National/ Regional/ LEA data sources and systems including OCGM;
- Experience of relevant analytical tools, such as iBASE, i2 workstation, GIS applications and other customised databases;
- Experience working in a police intelligence environment and experience of working with relevant police intelligence systems.
- Experience of working with covertly obtained products;
Other Requirements:
- Must be willing to undergo vetting;
- Occasional work outside of normal office hours;
- Should have an interest in and be willing to maintain personal knowledge of changes in IT and communications technology.
- The post holder will be expected to undertake training as and when required.
- The post holder will be expected to comply with health and safety requirements.
Appointment to this role will be dependent upon successfully passing vetting and medical checks, which may include a drugs test and if required a fitness test.
