ROCU WM Higher Intelligence Analyst
Essential Requirements:
- Educated to degree level in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience.
- Minimum five years’ experience as an analyst.
- National Intelligence Analysis Training (NIAT) qualified.
- Exceptional research and analytical skills and techniques including knowledge and experience of working to the National Intelligence Model (NIM), structured analytical techniques and other legislation pertinent to Intelligence.
- Significant experience in Intelligence Analysis in law enforcement, government intelligence or similar.
- Knowledge/experience of operational, tactical and strategic analysis.
- Proven ability to effectively problem solve using research and analytical techniques, presenting complex issues in a way which makes them understandable to a range of audiences.
- Experience of managing a diverse team including (but not limited to) managing HR issues, grievances, performance management, attendance issues, training and employee development.
- Experience of working to multiple deadlines and delivering results through effective planning and organising. Ability to prioritise own time and workload, and that of a team, under pressure and with minimum supervision.
- Excellent computer literacy skills, including knowledge of bespoke analytical software such as i2, ibase, GIS and the ability to query databases.
- Experience of working in sensitive environments. Demonstrate experience of working with confidential material.
- Ability to negotiate and influence others to achieve goals.
- Experience of building effective working relationships with a range of key stakeholders, including multiple partners.
- Driving licence and flexibility to work remotely across the region if necessary.
Desirable Requirements:
- Experience of working within a region, or with multiple partners.
- Experience of OCGM and performance management.
Appointment to this role will be dependent upon successfully passing vetting and medical checks, which may include a drugs test and if required a fitness test.
