The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

Essential:

  • Extensive experience of collaborative and partnership working
  • Experience of managing police investigations including disclosure obligations under Criminal Procedure and Investigations Act 1996
  • An interest in emerging technology

Desirable

  • Experience or awareness of covert policing techniques under Investigatory Powers Act (IPA) 2016, Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act (RIPA) 2000, Computer Misuse Act 1990 and Police Act 1997

Additional Information

  • The post holder will be required to obtain Developed Vetting
  • Willingness to travel regionally and nationally on a regular basis to fulfil the requirements of the role
  • The role is suitable for agile working
