ROCU Cyber Crime - Investigator
Essential Skills and Competencies:
- PIP2 accredited or passed NIE exam and working towards accreditation.
- Able to demonstrate a proven investigative background, including the use of covert assets to progress investigations into serious and organised crime.
- Able to demonstrate an understanding of CPIA and disclosure requirements in relation to criminal investigations, including in relation to sensitive material.
- Able to demonstrate experience of working with Digital Forensic evidence in support of investigations.
- Able to demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies.
- Able to demonstrate having taken responsibility for own professional development.
- An active interest in Cyber Crime and technology.
Desirable:
- Experience of working with financial evidence in support of investigations.
- Experience of working within Digital Forensics environment compliant with ISO 17025.
- The post holder will be required to obtain Developed Vetting.
- Travel is likely to be required nationally and internationally.
- The role is based at a location in central Birmingham
