Essential Skills and Competencies:
Able to demonstrate experience of drafting and maintaining surveillance authorities.
Able to demonstrate experience of working within both strategic and tactical intelligence.
Able to demonstrate the ability to handle sensitive intelligence and disseminate appropriately.
Able to demonstrate the ability to develop and maintain relationships with partner agencies.
Able to demonstrate the delivery of intelligence support to investigations targeting serious and organised crime – including the deployment of covert assets.
Able to demonstrate having taken responsibility for own professional development.
Able to demonstrate an understanding of CPIA and disclosure requirements in relation to criminal investigations - – including in relation to sensitive material.
An active interest in Cyber Crime and Technology.
Desirable Skills and Competencies:
Experience of working with and understanding departmental performance data.
Experience of working with financial intelligence.
Additional Information:
The post holder will be required to obtain Developed Vetting.
Travel is likely to be required nationally and internationally.
The role is based at a location in central Birmingham
