Essential Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Knowledge of developing training products for both class room and online delivery, covering all elements of the training design cycle
• Knowledge and understanding of the current tools available to create and design training products.
• A recognised training qualification (Level 3 Award in Education & Training) or equivalent training experience

• Evidence of exceptional oral presentation skills and excellent writing skills
• Evidence of excellent relationship building and an ability to work well with others over different areas of the business
• Ability to communicate, negotiate and influence at all levels
• Ability to problem solve and work to tight deadlines
• Ability to prioritise tasks and workload understanding when to escalate to supervision
• Excellent IT skills in windows based operations including: word, excel, PowerPoint.

Desirable Knowledge, Experience & Skills:

• Experience of conducting learning needs analysis
• Experience in a training role or environment
• Experience as a trainer, including ability to facilitate, run seminars and focus groups 

There will be the opportunity to train in all the current and new tools that we use to design and create products for example, Articulate, ilearn, Go to App, and powtoons.

Whilst you will be based at Tally-Ho Police Training College, Edgbaston, Birmingham, you may be required to work across the West Midlands Police area and beyond as business needs dictate.

Core hours of work are Monday to Friday 0800 x 1600.

Interviews for the role will be taking place on W/C 31st August 2020
