You must be substantive and have completed your training and probationary period

You must be transferring from a UK Home Office Police Force or BTP (or previously served as substantive in a UK Home Office Force)

We have courses throughout the year, apply today and you could be starting with us as early as June 2023!
Our training courses will provide you with an overview of West Midlands Police as a Force and how we operate as an organisation, along with ICT training on our systems and Personal Safety and First Aid refresher. Training courses are approximately 2 weeks long, and once completed you will be posted and land with your new team.

Vetting:
Successful applicants will be required to pass Recruitment Vetting and Counter Terrorism Clearance scrutiny prior to commencing their role, this will include a full background & financial disclosure as part of the vetting process.
Medical:
Appointment to this role will be dependent upon successfully medical checks, which may include a drugs test and if required a fitness test.
