About you:
As part of the liaison team you will have a pivotal role in delivering the NABIS performance function. You will be a strong communicator with excellent presentation and negotiation skills and the ability to build, maintain and influence relationships at a strategic level. You will have a background in law enforcement intelligence and investigative work involving the criminal use of firearms at a strategic level. You should be skilled at problem solving, with experience of performance management and strategic report writing.
As a national role which requires access to partners across the UK you should be well versed in the use of IT and telecommunications systems. You will have excellent interpersonal and relationship skills and be confident to liaise with and challenge partners in relation to performance at all levels. This is a demanding, exciting job which is challenging but also very rewarding.
It is desirable, but not essential, that you have experience in experience in law enforcement management, project management and programme delivery. It would also be beneficial to have knowledge of firearms legislation.
