Knowledge and Experience


  • Serving constable within either Staffordshire, Warwickshire, West Mercia or West Midlands Police forces.
  • Possesses or working towards completion of ICIDP
  • Proven investigatory experience involving complex crime investigations
  • Experience of undertaking sensitive high profile enquiries with limited supervision and exhibit high standards of integrity and professionalism
  • Experience of working with RIPA legislation, structure and practices
  • Experience of covert policing techniques
  • Experience in the role of Case / Exhibits/Disclosure/Intelligence Officer within a major investigation environment
  • Working knowledge of the National Intelligence Model and dealing with threat, harm and risk.
  • Have a valid UK driving licence and basic police driving grade.


  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills
  • Effective file building skills including disclosure principles and presenting complex information.
  • Effective management of exhibits skills
