Essential Requirements:
- Educated to degree standard or equivalent
- Experience working within a law enforcement Intelligence function at a supervisory level.
- Proven experience of developing and delivering intelligence based training courses and/or inputs
- Knowledge of existing HR, L&D and /or resourcing IT systems.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and evidenced ability of building effective working relationships across a spectrum of stakeholders, internal and external.
- Excellent organisational skills, ensuring that a wide variety of competing demands are managed without compromising standards.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills to ensure clear, accurate and appropriate sharing of information
- Creative, innovative and flexible approach to solving problems and ability to cope with a variety of situations.
- Ability to manage own workload, prioritising when required and taking initiative to resolve problems.
Desirable Requirements:
- Understanding of blended training approaches.
- Evidence of creating and building databases.
- Understanding of training and development principles, including quality assurance and continued professional development.
- Understanding the landscape of partner agencies, and where the Region is working collaboratively with partners.
- Working in collaboration with partner agencies, particularly public and third sector
- IT skills particularly Microsoft Office for production of documents presentations and presentations and databases
