Higher Performance Analyst
Sitting at the heart of the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit (WMCTU),
the Business Improvement Team provides specialist expertise to drive the
continued improvement of WMCTU service delivery. Understanding our Performance is
vital to our strategy.
We now have an exciting
opportunity for a performance professional to join the team. If you have the
expertise and commitment, you’ll thrive in this managerial position and help to
realise our ambitions.
With
at least 3 years’ experience of effective Performance Analysis and Improvement,
ideally at a corporate level, you’ll be able to demonstrate positive results. Your ability to analyse and interpret complex
information and produce persuasive written reports and presentations will be
essential. We want you to be able to plan, organise and co-ordinate work and be
capable of balancing competing demands and priorities.
You’ll be representing
the WMCTU at a local, regional and national level and you must be comfortable
working across portfolios with senior managers.
As a collaborative,
dedicated and driven individual, you’ll be adaptable and ready to take on any
analysis challenge as the Business Improvement Team plays its part in keeping
people safe from terrorism.
This
is a security cleared designated post. The preferred candidate will be required
to undertake this vetting procedure.
If
you have any queries regarding this role, please contact ct-employeeresourcing@west-midlands.pnn.police.uk.
“You must be a British
citizen to work for the West Midlands Counter Terrorism Unit. If you hold dual
nationality, one component of which is British, you may also be considered.
However, if successful, you may be asked to relinquish your non‐British
nationality (and any entitlement you may have to a foreign nationality) as a
condition of your confirmation of appointment with WMCTU. One of your parents
should also be British or have substantial ties to the UK. In the latter
instance; substantial ties means that your parent is a citizen of a British
Overseas Territory, a Commonwealth citizen, US citizen, EEA citizen, British
national or citizen overseas, and they would need to have demonstrable
connections with the UK by way of family history or have been resident here for
a substantial period of time.
If you're already married
to, or cohabiting with, a person who isn't a British citizen, you may still be
eligible for employment at the discretion of the Department. You should note
however, that marriage to, or cohabitation with, a person who isn't a British
citizen after appointment may, in some circumstances, result in the withdrawal
of security clearance and subsequent transfer to another Department, or (if
this is not possible or the officer does not wish to transfer) dismissal. Each
case will be considered on its merits, taking into account the ties between the
person involved and the United Kingdom.”
