Force Response PEQF Planning Officer
Knowledge and Experience:
Essential:
- Knowledgeable and competent in the use of force resourcing systems (MyTime)
- Knowledgeable and competent in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Good knowledge of West Midlands Police IT systems
- Good organisational, communication and influencing skills
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise tasks
- Able to provide accurate data
- Able to work as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to effectively deal with enquiries and requests coming into the department and to record outcomes.
- Ability to work in a methodical and organised fashion, prioritising tasks and working on own initiative, however work will also be directed by department supervision.
- A high level of Microsoft Excel knowledge and experience of handling large interacting data sets.
- Good understanding of police regulations and procedures
- Good understanding of West Midlands Police policy
- Post holder may be required to undergo training to meet the requirements of the role, which may involve overnight accommodation out of the force area.
- Full time 36.5 hours per week, typically 0700x1500 Monday to Friday, but duties may vary according to operational needs.
There may be a requirement for the post holder to travel to and attend meetings within West Midlands Police and with partners. Normal business hours are Monday to Friday 0700hrs x 1500hrs and the post holder will be expected to work within these hours.
