Financial Investigator - Detective Constable (including Transferees)
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- To be responsible for the investigation of financial transactions relating to identified suspect offenders in order to trace and recover assets obtained via criminal activity
- To work within the terms of relevant criminal and civil legislation to develop and execute sound investigative strategies, prepare statements as required by courts and give evidence at subsequent trials
- To liaise with internal and external agencies, such as HMRC and NCA
- To exchange and develop relevant intelligence and information
- To be responsible for the management of disclosure issues in accordance with relevant legislation
- To provide advice on POCA related matters to stakeholders
- To carry out other duties that are commensurate with the post that may be from time to time determined
The assessment process will be taking place in central Birmingham during March 2020.
To be eligible to apply for the role you must be a serving police officer.
Management Vetting will be required for this position.
