Driving Standards Officer
- Be a practising ADI or
- An experienced Police driver (minimum of advanced car driver grade)
- Police Driving Instructor qualification.
- First Aid at work qualified
- Police Training Role Learning development Programme - trainer qualified or equivalent
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Literate in Police IT systems
- Able to influence and negotiate
- Able to develop effective working partnerships
- Effective time management skills
- Ability to drive to ADI standard or
- Ability to drive to Police advanced car driver level
- Can work independently, without close supervision.
- Ability to drive to Police Driving Instructor level
- You will hold a full UK driving licence - B category
- Be a DSA approved driving instructor or have experience as an advanced police driver
- You must pass a health assessment
- You must pass an eyesight test at Advanced car driver level
- The successful applicant will be required to clear vetting prior to taking up this post
- Continued employment requires the post holder to pass the Police Driver trainer course.
