Skills and Experiences:

• Friendly and approachable
• Good communications skills & a good level of written and spoken English
• Reliable with good time-keeping skills
• Happy to work independently or as part of a team
• Attention to detail and good observational skills
• Administration skills (Microsoft Office, Internet)
• An aptitude for problem solving and be able approach tasks in a methodical and precise way.
• Have an understanding ACPO Principles of Digital Evidence.

Forensic Collision investigation
• Qualifications in Maths and Physics, ideally A level but a minimum of GCSE is a must.

Computer team/Mobile phone team

• Have a keen interest in and understanding of computer systems and/or mobile devices
• Ability to dismantle computers, including the removal and safe handling of key computer components.
• Be conversant with Windows operating systems and have a keen interest in other computer systems.

Video Laboratory / Evidence Presentation Team

• Have a keen interest in video imagery, from capture, storage to export of visual data.
• Confident to dismantle devices (Digital Video Recorders) and remove and replace internal components.

We are looking for volunteers to commit at least 16 hours per month ideally for a minimum of 6 months. Times and dates to be agreed
