Essential Criteria:
Extensive knowledge and understanding of County Lines including investigation, associated vulnerability and safeguarding, the role of partners and partnership working
The ability to deliver high quality reports and work, with a thorough understanding of national and local strategic issues surrounding county lines
Excellent leadership skills and ability to manage a team remotely, with the ability to identify and address challenges with personnel, relationships between organisations and motivation to deliver these consistently.
Thorough working knowledge around safeguarding of vulnerable people, Modern Slavery legislation and associated court orders.
Thorough working knowledge around the impact of county lines including the drugs market, associated violence and methods employed by organised criminal networks
Demonstrate the ability to coach, mentor and influence upwards and downwards with the ability to generate good working relationships and collaborations with colleagues and partners.
Demonstrate the ability to deliver presentations and talk within strategic groups with confidence
Demonstrable ability to draft clear and concise reports to meet the requirements of all audiences
A positive and proactive attitude towards developing strategic and tactical responses to Serious and Organised Crime, vulnerability and complex threat for national consistency
Demonstrates an advanced level of critical thinking and innovative approach to problem solving
Able to work autonomously with little supervision
Able to travel and work unsociable hours when required
Demonstrable ability to prepare and deliver presentations and briefings to senior managers, being articulate and able to debate complex issues in a manner appropriate to the needs and knowledge of the audience
Desirable Criteria:
An understanding of government strategy and policies and how they affect the policing of County Lines
Experience of working with partner agencies in a county lines context
