Role Responsibilities:
- Work with colleagues to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of the CBRN Centre training programme and projects through the provision of general administration and support.
- Undertake financial duties in support of the Business Manager and Admin Manager including the facilitation of travel and accommodation requirements for all CBRN staff, ensuring use of contracted suppliers, adhering to policies and procedures that are in place. Maintain accurate and auditable finance records of all purchases and sales to provide both quantitative and qualitative data for the Business Manager.
- Source and procure resources for the smooth running of the CBRN Centre including uniform, stationery and other consumables, using contracted suppliers where available. Ensure value for money principles are adhered to in all procurement activities.
- Update and maintain all records pertaining to the CBRN fleet including service scheduling and all legal requirements. Monitor all vehicle log sheets and notify exceptions to the Business Manager. Develop and maintain vehicle costing’s record for use by the Business Manager. Comply with all College and CBRN policies and procedures relating to the CBRN fleet. Liaise closely with WMP Fleet Services and deliver department requirements within agreed timescales.
- Ensure effective allocation of fleet resources for duty managers/officers in line with on call duties. Maintain vehicle day to day usage by wider CBRN staff and ensure resources are available or suitable alternatives provided. Update and maintain data/records relating to all aspects of transport and provision of vehicles for CBRN.
- Provide logistical support to the Centre’s equipment storage operation, ensuring timely and accurate stock control, warehousing and transportation of equipment from both external and internal warehousing solutions.
- Provide support to the training officer function and wider admin team, including updating and recording training registration data, minute taking as and when required and the use of bespoke booking systems.
- Provide effective and efficient support to the N CBRN C and its stakeholders. Undertake other duties as identified by Line Manager or Senior Management team that are commensurate with the role.

Desirable Skills and Competencies:
- Knowledge of the UK policing environment.
- Experience of working in a multi-agency environment.
- Familiarity with using bespoke finance, procurement and fleet and/or warehouse management systems.
