CCTV Supporting Manager
Person Specification
- Experience of CCTV technology to provide technical skills and knowledge that facilitate the security, integrity, performance and availability of CCTV infrastructure.
- You will have the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines, whilst being competent in the use of MS Office applications , specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint; plus, have sound written, oral and presentation skills.
- You will also have strong networking, engagement, persuasion, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to build effective collaborative relationships with a wide range of professionals within and around West Midlands Police and partner organisations.
- A working knowledge of public space surveillance technology and local authority control rooms.
- Experience of CCTV, including technology and Safer Detention guidelines.
- Demonstrate a high level of knowledge in these laws. Home Office Surveillance Camera Commissioner’s Code of Practice and legislative requirements including: Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000, Data Protection Act, Human Rights Act.
- The post holder will be contracted to work 36.5 hours per week but will need to be flexible to meet the demands of the post, and may have to work outside normal core hours.
- The post holder will need to have the ability to travel to different locations as required.
