Business Support Officer- Project - Commonwealth Games Planning Team (FTC/Secondment until August 2022)
You will:
The Person
- Problem solving and analytical skills.

- Experience in networking, engagement, persuasion, influencing and communications skills.
- Written, oral and presentations skills.
- Ability to build effective collaborative relationships with a wide range of professionals within and around West Midlands Police and partner organisations.
- Competent in the use of MS Office applications (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Competent in the use of MS Projects.
- Able to provide accurate data, analyse trends and advise line managers accordingly.
- Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.

Internal applicants are required to notify their line manager that they have applied for this role.
This post is a secondment and will end on 31st August 2022.
Your substantive role will be retained for the duration of the project.
The successful applicant will be expected to commit to remain in the role until the delivery of the Commonwealth Games in August 2022 and for post event reporting (unless there are exceptional circumstances).
The successful applicant will be subject to appropriate vetting.
The post holder will be contracted to work 36.5 hours per week but will need to be flexible to meet the demands of the post, and may have to work outside normal core hours.
The post holder will need to have the ability to travel to different locations as required.
The post will predominately be based at Centro House with scope for regular work out of 1 Brindley Place and Lloyd House respectively.
