Business Support Officer (Project) - Commonwealth Games Planning Team (2 year fixed term contract/secondment)
The
Person
As the Business Support Officer,
you will have a good understanding of projects in terms of mechanisms and
approach, and possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
You will be able to manage and prioritise your own workload and, where
appropriate, that of a team. Coupled with strong problem solving and analytical
skills, you will be able to provide accurate data, analyse trends and advise
line managers accordingly.
In addition, you will
have the ability to prioritise and work to tight deadlines, whilst being competent in the use of MS Office applications ,
specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint; plus, have sound written, oral and
presentation skills.
You will also have strong networking, engagement,
persuasion, influencing and communication skills, with the ability to build
effective collaborative relationships with a wide range of professionals within
and around West Midlands Police and partner organisations.

This is a 2 year fixed term
opportunity.
Successful applicants will be subject
to appropriate vetting.
Successful applicants will be expected
to be committed to remain in the group until the delivery of the Commonwealth
Games in August 2022 and for post event reporting (unless under exceptional
circumstances)
