Business Support Officer- Project (FTC/Secondment until August 2022)
The Person
- Demonstrate Problem solving and analytical skills.
- Be abie to prioritise and work to tight deadlines.
- Have experience in networking, engagement, persuasion, influencing and communications skills.
- You will also foster a culture of inclusion and be able to work effectively amongst a diverse team, creating strong engagement in order to meet performance objectives whilst embodying Force values and behaviours
- Good Written, oral and presentations skills.
- Have the ability to build effective collaborative relationships with a wide range of professionals within and around West Midlands Police and partner organisations.
- Competent in the use of MS Office applications (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Be able to provide accurate data, analyse trends and advise line managers accordingly.
- Possess a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Problem solving and analytical skills.
Conditions
This post is a Fixed Term Post and will end 31st August 2022.
The successful applicant will be expected to commit to remain in the role until the delivery of the Commonwealth Games in August 2022 and for post event reporting
The successful applicant will be subject to appropriate vetting.
The post holder will be contracted to work 36.5 hours per week but will need to be flexible to meet the demands of the post, and may have to work outside normal core hours.
The post holder will be based in Central Birmingham but need the ability to travel to different locations as required.
