Specialist Knowledge/Skills and Abilities:

Essential:
  • Experience of computer software applications e.g. Microsoft Office.
  • Displays the capability to produce work to the required standard, accurately and concisely.
  • Carries out duties/tasks relevant to the post including checking / inputting information and associated filing.
  • Must be able to communicate in writing & orally, in a concise manner. 
  • Able to work with minimum supervision, prioritising work as required
Desirable:
  • Trained and competent in the use of the JML Chronicle firearms database (there will be a provision for the successful applicant to be trained in the use of the JML Chronicle Firearms Module
  • General knowledge of firearms policy, procedures and National Firearms Training Modules.
Training/Experience Required:

Essential:
  • Keyboard experience and knowledge of computer applications, including database and word processing applications.
  • Possess word processing experience and keyboard skills.
Desirable:
  • Experience of working within an Administration Environment.
Additional Information:
  • Must be prepared to travel within the Force area if required in accordance with Force policy.
  • Must be prepared to undergo an enhanced level of security vetting & pass that vetting, due to the sensitivity of the role.
