Business Continuity Support Officer - Commonwealth Games Planning Team (2 year fixed term contract/secondment)
The Person
With strong communication and
interpersonal skills, you will be skilled in developing and maintaining
relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, enabling effective
collaboration. A significant part of the role requires the Business Continuity
Officer to plan and deliver informative and persuasive presentations to a wide
audience through a range of media, and have an ability to work on your own
initiative, prioritise tasks and meet critical deadlines.
You will foster a culture of inclusion and be
able to work effectively amongst a diverse team, creating strong engagement in
order to meet performance objectives whilst embodying Force values and
behaviours.
You should be competent in the use of
Microsoft Outlook, Word and Powerpoint, and once in post, develop a good knowledge of WMP intranet
and IT systems including My Time.
Desirable Skills
Ideally you will have experience of business continuity and testing/exercising with the ability to complete objective setting to medium and long-term cycles, co-ordinating a complex range of activities and balancing competing needs.
With experience of planning
multi-venue events, you should be solution focused with a flair for innovation,
and have an understanding of CT and LRF structures, Business Continuity and
TE&E responsibilities under the CCA 2004.

Conditions
This post is a 2 year fixed term contract.
The successful applicant will be expected to commit to remain in the role until the delivery of the Commonwealth Games in August 2022 and for post event reporting (unless there are exceptional circumstances).
