Assistant Director - Organisation Development & Learning
This role is a member of the People and OD senior leadership team, so
has a key role in creating and driving the delivery of our people strategy. You will lead a diverse team of learning,
development and engagement professionals in a large, complex organisation.
This role is also responsible for the delivery of key projects across
the force including the continued
implementation of the Policing Education
Qualifications Framework (PEQF)** which
completely changes the way we recruit and train our police officers from April
2019; and the delivery of the Operational Learning and Development review to
transform the learning culture within the organisation.
You will bring your knowledge
of best practice, systems, technology and emerging trends in your field. You
will have demonstrable examples of creating and leading organisation wide
learning and development strategy, and of delivering complex projects. Experience of commissioning and delivering
volume technical training would be advantageous.
