We would expect the successful applicant to:

  • Have experience in a relevant field e.g. Apprenticeships/Higher Apprenticeship awards and possess the ability to manage multiple work streams and stakeholder relationships supported by the ability to influence change.
  • Experience of working in an HR/OD role and delivery of learning and development interventions to diverse learning audiences would be advantageous.
  • Experience of working and managing work streams in a structured way that delivers key milestones
  • Have a sound understanding of the ESFA funding rules and compliance requirements, and OFSTED regulatory and inspection framework.
  • Experience of working to multiple deadlines delivering results through effective planning and organisation, working methodically, accurately and autonomously
  • Experience of managing the Apprenticeship Service (Levy) programme to ensure best utilisation of funds for organisational needs including negotiating, authorising and overseeing the contractual delivery and compliance of apprenticeships delivered through engaged training providers.
  • Have a sound understanding of diversity and inclusion, and socio economic issues as they impact on the learning and development experience of students.
