Knowledge & Experience
Essential:

- Excellent IT Skills including the use of MS Office applications (specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of intelligence systems and processes
- Potential to undertake sensitive enquiries with limited supervision and therefore exhibit high standards of integrity and professionalism.
Desirable:
- Experience working within an intelligence environment
- Knowledge of CMPG Strategic Aims and the NPCC Roads Policing priorities as defined in the national strategy ‘Policing our Roads Together’ - 2018-2021
- Knowledge and experience of Automatic Number Plate recognition (ANPR) and the National ANPR System (NAS)
- Be able to use the following West Midlands police systems – BOF2 / Command & Control (Oasis) / Intelligence Management System (IMS) / CORVUS Briefing & Tasking / Police National Computer (PNC), Police National Database (PND)
- Evidence a good understanding of the requirements of the National Intelligence Model
