Volunteers

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be part of our policing family?

Being a volunteer for West Midlands Police offers you an opportunity unlike any other – a chance to play a vital role in helping us to protect the public and keeping our communities safe.

Volunteering is an exciting and rewarding opportunity which allows you to gain new skills, to meet people from all walks of life and to support your community, whilst providing a valuable contribution to the achievement of our policing goals.

We currently have over 700 members of the public who support the force in a variety of roles. To find out more please take a look at their testimonials and meet the dedicated volunteers that support our force.  (Click Here)

For many of our volunteer roles you do not require specialist skills. We are looking for people who are enthusiastic, who can work well as part of a team, and who have a positive and friendly approach.  In some of our roles, you will have the opportunity to showcase and utilise your particular skills or expertise to best effect - for example if you have a law background, then our Legal department could be an ideal place for you to volunteer.
